Ganni styles the O.K Corral

When you find a brand you love, you keep on top of knowing what their latest trends are and will always see what they have in store before you go anywhere else.

If you could shop one brand to fill your wardrobe who would it be?  For me, it would have to be Ganni – a Danish brand that encapsulates the quirky with the ease of every day.  Founded in 2000, it’s grown from creating the perfect cashmere sweater to being able to create your seasonal wardrobe every year.

“With GANNI we wanted to do something different than the typical stereotypes of scandinavian fashion, which when we started were either high-concept Scandi-style or girly-boho. Aiming to create a third alternative, we sought after a more playful and effortless approach to design, that represents how I want to dress and look. Without strict dogmas or rules, but with room for personality, contrasts and experimentation.”– Ditte Reffstrup, Creative Director Ganni

I’ve never been a real fan of high street style – it’s always been a bit too all conforming for me and I like something more playful and less what you’d see everyone else on social media wearing.  I prefer to pay more for one item that I love than spend £100 on a bag of clothes that will last a few months and think I’ve got myself a bargain.  I love how social media has opened up a whole new world of finding these brands that would potentially never have crossed your path and having my mind opened to the new era of Skandi Brands, for me, i’ve found my niche!

I’ve pulled out below my favourite pieces from the season and given you ideas on how to style them.  I hope you find some inspiration to create some great looks from your favourite brand too

Ganni this season has a real Yeeha Wild West feel to it with a feminine twist and a subtle nod to the cowboy.  Fashion should be about having fun and expressing your personality and there’s no getting away from that with this collection

Little house on the prairie goes Skandi!  I adore this dress – I saw it in Liberty’s the other day and the material is gorgeous.  If you can brave a bare leg, a dress with a cowboy boot is such a great look.  Toughen it up with the leather jacket to be a little less Laura Ingalls and a little more Calamity Jane!

These trousers are fab, they don’t really need a lot of fuss as they alone are a statement, but lets have some fun and mix it up a bit.  The brown of the jumper ties in with the leopard print of the trousers and throw on the heel to clash colour and texture. whilst keeping the look feminine and delicate
So simple, but so pretty.  A great going out for dinner with the girls outfit.  Accessorise with a matching green bag and you’re all set
Well that’s Christmas day sorted.  The sparkle of the dress with the comfort of the boot
A total ‘Boss Lady’ in this look.  Tuck the trousers into the jeans and shake those tassels.  You’ll be bossing it all day
It’s really important to me when it comes to fashion is how it impacts the environment and where I can I will always look into the sustainability of a brand.  I am so pleased and relieved that Ganni have implemented a strategy that means they run their business in a sustainable and socially responsible way

One more thing before I go is to let you know where you can get your hands on Ganni in the UK – below i’ve listed some UK Stockists

Liberty’s, Selfridges, Iris Fashion, The Shop at Bluebird
